Hummus

So I had to drain a can of chickpeas in order to make my Chocolate Mousse. Therefore, I had to make something with the chickpeas themselves! An easy way to use up chickpeas: hummus. I used a small blender my brother gave me last year, and it worked fine, with lots of mixing between pulsing times.

I had some as dipping sauce for veggies.

RECIPE
  Ingredients
  • 1 can of chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 3 tbs tahini (sesame paste)
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • lemon juice, salt, paprika, to taste
  Procedure
  1. Put everything in a blender or food processor. Some mixing may be required in order to keep blender from overheating.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Sprinkle with paprika.
