So I had to drain a can of chickpeas in order to make my Chocolate Mousse. Therefore, I had to make something with the chickpeas themselves! An easy way to use up chickpeas: hummus. I used a small blender my brother gave me last year, and it worked fine, with lots of mixing between pulsing times.
I had some as dipping sauce for veggies.
RECIPE
Ingredients
- 1 can of chickpeas
- 1/4 cup of water
- 3 tbs tahini (sesame paste)
- 2 tbs olive oil
- lemon juice, salt, paprika, to taste
Procedure
- Put everything in a blender or food processor. Some mixing may be required in order to keep blender from overheating.
- Blend until smooth.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
